MangaVault offers both free and paid tiers. The free tier includes barcode scanning, collection tracking up to 50 volumes, basic statistics, and the default theme. MangaVault Pro ($4.99/month or $29.99/year) unlocks unlimited collection size, Quick Scan Pro mode for continuous scanning, advanced statistics and insights, premium color themes, data export, and priority support. We're committed to making the free tier useful on its own — but Pro is there for collectors who want the full experience.

Yes! You can search our database and add volumes manually. This is useful for older manga that might not have scannable barcodes, or if you prefer to add volumes while browsing the app.
Yes! Your collection is stored locally on your device, so you can browse it anytime — even without internet. When you're back online, any changes will sync automatically.
At launch, MangaVault will focus primarily on English-language manga from major publishers (Viz, Kodansha, Yen Press, Seven Seas, etc.). We plan to expand support for other languages and regions based on user demand.
Absolutely. Your collection data is private by default. We never sell your data or share it with third parties. You're in complete control of your information.
Yes! We believe your data is yours. You can export your entire collection as CSV or JSON at any time. No lock-in, ever.
If you have cloud sync enabled, your data remains safely stored and will be restored when you reinstall. If you're using local-only storage, deleting the app will remove your data — so we recommend enabling cloud backup.
MangaVault's lending tracker lets you mark any volume as "lent" and record who has it. You can lend to friends in the app or enter any name for non-users. Set optional return date reminders, view your lending history, and mark items returned with one tap. Never lose track of your lent manga again.
Collection Value (PRO feature) estimates what your manga collection is worth based on market data. The value takes into account the condition you've assigned to each volume — Mint condition volumes are worth more than Fair or Poor. You'll see your total value, trends over time, and a breakdown of your most valuable volumes.
Monthly Wrapped is your personalized collecting summary, delivered at the end of each month. It shows volumes added, reading progress, collection growth, and fun stats — all in beautiful, Instagram-style shareable cards. Share your collecting achievements directly to social media.
MangaVault has 56 manga-themed achievements to unlock as you collect and read. Earn XP from adding volumes, completing series, reading, and hitting milestones. Your XP determines your collector level, with ranks from Kohai (beginner) to Densetsu (legend). Share your achievement cards to show off your collector status.
The Release Calendar shows all upcoming manga releases. Filter to see only series you're collecting, or browse everything new. Switch between week and month views. See what's releasing when and never miss a new volume in a series you love.
