Yes. You can search the catalog and add volumes manually. Useful for older manga without scannable barcodes, or when you'd rather browse and tap.
Partly. Your library, including covers you've already viewed, stays available offline, and changes you make (reading progress, shelves, manual entries) are saved on your phone and sync automatically when you're back online. Scanning a barcode and searching the full catalog need a connection, because lookups go to our online catalog. What works offline →
Yes. Standard singles, omnibus, deluxe, box sets, and special editions are all tracked as distinct items with correct volume counts per series. Berserk Deluxe Vol. 3 and Berserk Vol. 7 are not the same thing — and Manga Vault knows that.

In English that includes TOKYOPOP, VIZ Media, Kodansha, Yen Press, Seven Seas, Dark Horse and many more, plus French, German, Spanish, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Polish and Japanese editions. Cover art and metadata come from our own curated catalog, verified against publisher sources — not third-party databases.
Submit a request from inside the app when a scan comes up Not Found. Our team reviews every request, usually within a few days, and once a volume is approved it's published to the catalog and shows up in the app automatically.
Absolutely. Your collection is private by default. We never sell your data or share it with third parties. You're in complete control.
Yes. Your data is yours. Export your entire collection as JSON anytime, or as a CSV spreadsheet with Pro. You can also export everything tied to your account, and if you delete your account you have 30 days to change your mind. No lock-in, ever.
Nothing is lost. Your collection is saved to your Manga Vault account in the cloud, not just on your phone, so you can reinstall, sign in, and it syncs back. The only exception is changes you made offline that haven't synced yet, so open the app once while connected before you delete it. Deleting the app doesn't delete your account.
Mark any volume as "lent" and record who has it — friends in the app, or any name for non-users. Set optional return-date reminders, view your full lending history, and mark items returned with one tap. Never lose track of a lent volume again.
Collection Value (PRO) estimates what your manga collection is worth from each volume's cover price (MSRP), adjusted for the condition you've assigned — Mint counts at full price, Good, Fair and Poor at less. You can set your own value for signed copies or rare editions. You'll see your total, plus a breakdown by series and by volume.
